About

My Beginnings

My journey with animals started when I was just a kid growing up in Colorado. I began volunteering at a shelter in third grade, and by high school, I was fostering kittens, helping with adoptions, and organizing neighborhood rescue efforts. I even spent summers working at a veterinary clinic in rural Ukraine, where I gained hands-on experience treating stray animals with limited resources. These early experiences shaped not just my love for animals—but my desire to create systems that actually make a difference.

Now, I’m a student at Colorado State University pursuing a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing, Computer Information Systems, and Music Business. It might sound like an unusual mix, but every piece has helped me grow the shelter work I care so much about.

What I do

I currently manage operations and outreach for Colorado Kitty Coalition, a cat rescue based in Fort Collins. I handle everything from volunteer coordination, adoption systems, and social media to donor outreach and business partnerships. I also build automation tools that keep our rescue organized and running smoothly—freeing up more time for what matters most: saving lives.

Outside of the shelter, I’m passionate about marketing and tech, and I apply what I learn in school directly to our programs—from streamlining spreadsheets to building better fundraising strategies. Whether it’s fixing a database or bottle-feeding a kitten, I’m all in.
